Sir James Paul McCartney, MBE, (born 18 June 1942) is an English musician, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and composer. With John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, he gained worldwide fame as a member of The Beatles and his collaboration with Lennon is one of the most celebrated songwriting partnerships of the 20th century. After the band's break-up, he pursued a solo career, later forming Wings with his first wife, Linda, and singer-songwriter Denny Laine.

Guinness World Records described McCartney as the "most successful composer and recording artist of all time", with 60 gold discs and sales of over 100 million albums and 100 million singles, and as the "most successful songwriter" in United Kingdom chart history.

The Epiphone Elitist Paul McCartney Texan is a faithful replicas of Sir Paul’s 1964 Texan, from the matching grain filler/lacquer finish right down to the 1/8” gap between the back center strip and the head block – a detail pointed out by Sir Paul himself.

Having written and performed Yesterday on his original 1964 Texan, this is the first guitar Paul McCartney has ever endorsed. This edition is one of only 1,964 built with care and precision in Epiphone's Japanese facility.

Gibson Montana has re-created this tonal masterpiece complete with specially antiqued nitrocellulose finish. Signed on the top by Sir Paul himself, after he plays it.

Individually handmade in a limited run of only 40 instruments by some of the world's best luthiers, it's crafted with the finest woods, including a fine-grained solid Sitka spruce top; mahogany back, sides, and neck; and rosewood fretboard. All the lacquer cracks, wear and tear, and so on are added by hand to accurately depict Sir Paul's original in its current condition. It comes with custom case and certificate of authenticity. Adopt a Minefield will receive a percentage of the profits.
