J-45
The Epiphone Limited Edition 1963 AJ-45 Round Shoulder Dreadnought is modeled after the Gibson J-45. The J-45 is generally regarded as Gibson's most famous and widely used acoustic guitar model. Introduced in 1942 with a list price of $45, it was conceived as a replacement for the earlier J-35 model, which was an inexpensive, Great Depression-era flattop guitar. Favored by finger style and folk artists since the 1940s it has become known as "The Workhorse." It features classic materials such as a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, with a round shoulder dreadnought style body.
