Byron
From The Unofficial Epiphone Wiki
The Byron was one of Epiphone's less expensive instruments retailing originally around $70.00 and carried relatively simple appointments but still built to the original Epiphone standards. A lower-price model, the Byron made its initial appearance in about 1939 as a non-cutaway acoustic. When Epiphone produced cutaways, it normally favoured the rounded, Venetian style, the Byron cutaway has a sharper Florentine cutaway. |
